Child safety car seat classification and precautions for use

Children are one of the most important occupants of your vehicle. It is therefore important to ensure that your child is using the restraint system correctly every time the vehicle is driven. The correct restraint method needs to be used based on the child's age, height and weight.

Precautions for the use of child safety car seats:

Design baby safety seats, child safety car seats and cushions to fit children according to their height, age and weight. For children under 1.5 meters in height or under 12 years old, please place the safety seat in the rear seat of the car. Seat belts should always be worn by children who are too large to use child seats and cushions (follow the child seat manufacturer's instructions).

Only use child seats certified to GB 27887-2011 or ECE-R44.04 (or higher) and suitable for the size and weight of children.

When installing a child seat: Be sure to read and follow the child seat and vehicle manufacturer's instructions and instructions.

Strictly follow the instructions of the OEM and the manufacturer of the child seat you choose. If you do not install and use a child seat properly, you can injure your child in sudden braking and collisions. The child seat cannot be modified in any way.

Due to the variety of child restraint systems, car seats, and seat belt designs, not all child safety seats will fit every seat in a vehicle. When choosing a child safety seat, it is recommended to use a product that has been tested for safety.
Classification of child safety car seats
Infant Safety Seat (Group 0+)

Infants weighing less than 13kg must be placed in an infant safety seat (group 0+), and the infant safety seat must be installed on the rear seat facing the rear.

warn! Do not use a rear-facing child safety seat on a seat equipped with an airbag in the front, otherwise it is very dangerous.
Child Safety Seats (Group 1)

Children weighing between 13kg and 18kg should be placed in the rear seat (group 1).
Booster Seats and Cushions (Groups 2 and 3)

Children who weigh more than 15kg but are less than 150cm tall must use a booster seat or a booster cushion. The raised seat position allows the shoulder straps of the adult seat belt to pass over the middle of the child's shoulders, while the lap belt also crosses the crotch to hold it tightly.

When using a child safety seat on the rear seat, make sure the child safety seat is fastened to the vehicle seat. The head restraint may need to be raised or removed. Refer to the owner's manual for details on raising or removing the head restraint.

Never install a booster seat or booster cushion when the seat belt is twisted or slack.
Never place the seat belt under or behind the child's arm.
It is strictly forbidden to use items such as pillows, books or towels to raise children.
Make sure the child is sitting in the correct position.
